Stirrup rings
This barebackpad has ring to attach stirrups, however we don't encourage it and this is why:
- Stirrups are designed to work with a treed saddle that distributes pressure evenly along the horse’s back.

When stirrups are attached to a bareback pad, any pressure you put on them (especially mounting or standing) causes the pad to dig directly into a small area of the horse’s spine or ribs. This can be uncomfortable and harmful long term if you use it often.
But for small, light kids or people with disabilities it's fine to use stirrups on this barebackpad.
