The MD tico is a complete leather bitless hackamore bridle with clip reins. Anatomically shaped behind the ears, softly padded and stable on the head thanks to the chin clip strap. Widely adjustable and available in sizes pony, cob, full and extra full.

The hackamore gives a slight leverage effect which distributes the pressure over the nose, chin and behind the ears. You can also use this one as a sidepull bridle by clipping the reins on a different place on the star wheel. Shanks

The bridle comes standard with the 'star' shanks but gives the possibility to change shanks. You can find different shanks on this page.

The headpiece

It is possible to take of the noseband and exchange it for a different type or use it with a bit as shown in the last picture.

I've been eyeing this bridle for a long time and finally was able to get it for myself. I love the design and style for a hackamore. I ordered the full size as that is what my tb wears usually. I have found that the chin strap is a little tighter than I'd like it if I have the bridle sitting as high up the nose as I'd like. I'm planning to punch another hole to loosen it a bit more. I also wish the listing stated that the included reins were woven nylon. I plan to buy different reins to go with the bridle as I don't personally care for the woven fabric and I have had these snap reins randomly unclip while riding. The bridle itself is great quality and I'm very excited to have it.

Fijn hoofdstel! Het leer is makkelijk te onderhouden en is na bijna een jaar intensief gebruik nog super netjes! Voor het beeld: op de foto een tinker van 1m40 met een kort hoofd en dikke kaak, draagt maat pony met grotere hackamore scharen op het 1 na kleinste gaatje op het kopstuk en een groter riempje aan de neusriem (deze vallen klein), kaakriem zit genoeg speling om strakker en losser te kunnen

Such a great bridle and great costumer service! I always love to order from them. The bridle is beautiful with impressively good quality for the price. It’s widely adjustable and I love that I can switch between the sidepull and hackamore style. My horse is comfortable with both, so I find myself sometimes switching between them for different things while we figure out which works best, and it’s truly so easy that I can do it mounted. It’s very well cushioned on the noseband and anatomical poll (which fits my horse perfectly). Overall, super convenient, pretty, great quality, and comfy for my horse.
